In order to compile and install CDBakeOven on your system, unzip (bzip2 -dv) and untar (tar -xvf) downloaded file, and than type the following in the base directory of the CD Bake Oven distribution:
$ ./configure --prefix="full path to KDE location" (ie ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3)
$ make
$ make install (as root)

In order to successfully install CDBakeOven1.8 or older, QT 2.2.4 or newer & KDE 2.1 or newer must be installed on your system. Versions 1.8 or older will not work/compile under KDE3!
